Recently, the research team of Professor WangKe and Researcher Song Dongxing from the School of Mechanics and Safety Engineering has made important progress in the research on iron thermoelectric operation mode and continuous power generation. The Seebeck coefficient of ionic thermoelectric materials can be more than 100 times that of electronic thermoelectric materials. It has significant advantages in low cost, flexibility, self-healing, and easy processing, and can pave the way for self-power for microelectronic devices, highly sensitive sensing applications, and improve thermoelectric efficiency.
