The finals of the 2024 7th Henan Province Poetry Competition were held in Xinyang. The event was organized by the Henan Provincial Department of Education, and co-hosted by Publicity Department of Xinyang Municipal Committee of the CPC, the Xinyang Language and Writing Work Committee and the Xinyang Education and Sports Bureau. Six students from ZZU—Zhang Xuanqi, Xu Yanyan, Feng Zhongcheng, Zhao Yifei, Tong Yufan, and Yan Hongjun—participated in the final competition under the guidance of Professors Zhang Li and Jian Dong from the School of Literature. The students achieved excellent results in the competition.
