On March 3, Huang Cen,Deputy Provost andAssociate Vice-President of the University of Alberta in Canada, and her entourage visited the university. Han Guohe, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee and Chairman of theLaborUnion, Wang Haijie, Member of the Standing Committee of the University Party Committee and Vice President, and Dong Zigang, Academic Vice President, met with the guestsonthe main campus.Focusing on the hot-spots at the forefront of academic disciplines, the two sides had in-depth discussions on the topics of joint training of high-level innovative talents, co-construction of high-level scientific research platforms, and joint research on major scientific projects, and reached a number of consensuses. Both sides expressed the hope to further strengthen communication and promote more cooperation projects to take root.
