From April 12 to 13, the finals of the 16th National College Mathematics Competition were held at Zhejiang Normal University. 11 students from Zhengzhou University entered the finals and won 1 first prize, 3 second prizes, and 7 third prizes. Among them, Hu Jinyang, a student fromclass 3 (top talent class) of the Mathematics and Applied Mathematics major of the School of Mathematics and Statistics,class of 2027,won the first prize of the competition (mathematics junior group) with his excellent performance. Zhengzhou University won the first prize of the Outstanding University Organization Award of the competition.
