On June 19th, Deng Rongling, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and the full-time vice chairman and secretary-general of the Central Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association, led a research team to visit the Zhongyuan Laboratory of Key Metals to conduct a special investigation. They inspected the laboratory's research progress and the transformation of scientific and technological achievements on the spot. Wang Liguo, the deputy secretary of ZZU’s Party committee, accompanied the research team. The heads of ZZU United Front Work Department, the Sci-Tech Research Institute, and the Zhongyuan Laboratory of Key Metals also participated in the research. This research activity not only fully affirmed the laboratory's scientific and technological innovation capabilities but also was an important practice for the development of new productive forces in the central region in accordance with local conditions.
