Recently, Ministry of Education held a symposium for supporting and elevating Midwest higher education, deploying and initiating the work of Ministry-Province Co-construction. The symposium noted that it was essential to work under the new mechanism and mode of Ministry-Province Co-construction, and focus on supporting the construction of ZZU and 13 other universities in the provinces where there are no institutes of higher education directly under Ministry of Education by following the principle of “One Province, One University”.(translator Song Gencheng)
