On April 8th, Henan Province’s Third Session of Overseas High-level Talents Introduction and Project Docking was held in Zhengzhou. Xia Jie, member of the Standing Committee of Henan Provincial Party Committee as well as the minister of the Organization Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and Wang Yanling, Vice Governor of the People’s Government of Henan Province, attended the opening ceremony. Several foreign experts in Zhengzhou University attended the meeting, including Chul B. Park and David Owens. The former was not only an academician of the Canadian Academy of Sciences and Academy of Engineering, but also a foreign academician of South Korean Academy of Sciences, while the latter was a professor at the Royal Academy of Engineering. Chul B. Park delivered a speech on the opening ceremony as a representative of the foreign experts.
During this session, Vice Governor Wang Yanling met with Chul B. Park and David Owens, hoping the professionals to propose valuable advice for the development of Henan Province and make further contributions to the introduction of more talents into Henan.
