A few days ago, with the approval of American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), ZZU Student Branch of AIChE was formally set up. Prof. Han Yifan, Head of School of Chemical Engineering and Energy was appointed as Instructor of branch., marking following Zhejiang University, Tianjin University and Dalian University etc., ZZU becoming one of the first batch of Chinese universities to set up AIChE Student branch.
AIChE boasts of over 165 student branches all over the world, each of which provides a platform of exchanges and horizon onto advanced technologies in the field of the current chemical engineering, and offers necessary assistance and support to students who are on the way to becoming excellent chemical engineers.(translator Song Gencheng)
