Recently, Prof. Qin Yanru co-authored and published “RNA editing of SLC22A3 drives early tumor invasion and metastasis in familial esophageal cancer” in Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America. This research discovered a new susceptible gene-SLC22A3 of family Esophageal Cancer and revealed its function and mechanism, providing scientific and experimental basis for the treatment of family Esophageal Cancer.
