On July 5，Vice President Han Guohe met with German visitors, headed by Dieter Schramm, Dean of School of Engineering, University of Duisburg-Essen.
Vice President Han introduced the general situation of ZZU, including the measures taken to promote internationalization. He wished both schools could strengthen the cooperation in present field of engineering, further extend the collaboration into the fields of the Humanities, and intensify the work of joint training of PhD candidates as well.
Dean Dieter Schramm introduced the general situation about University of Duisburg-Essen in terms of university scale, disciplinary development, and internationalization, etc. He wished both sides to carry out joint training of bachelors, masters and PhDs, and strengthen cooperation in scientific researches.(translator Song Gencheng)
