ZZU Is Awarded the Title of the First “National Civilized Campus”
On Nov.17, the national commendation conference for cultural and ethical advancement was held in Beijing. Together with excellent representatives of the new national civilized cities, towns, units, campuses and the minors’ intellectual and moral construction work as well as “National Moral Models”, Party Secretary Niu Shucheng, as a representative of the First “National Civilized Campus”, was received warmly by General Secretary Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People. Extending warm congratulations to the all representatives, Xi encouraged them to work harder, thus making new contributions or achievements in raising socialist cultural-ethical standards. Wang Huning, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau and Director of Central Guidance Commission on Building Spiritual Civilization, attended the meeting and commendation conference.
The representatives of the Fifth National Civilized Cities, Towns, Units and the First National Civilized Campus were commended at the meeting, where ZZU was awarded a title of the First “National Civilized Campus”.
