On December 3, the signing ceremony for the joint construction of Confucius Institute, involving ZZU and Free University of Tbilisi, Georgia, was held in Chengdu. Alexander, Vice President of Free University of Tbilisi, and Han Guohe, Vice President of ZZU, attended the ceremony.
A seminar was held before the signing ceremony. Han Guohe said that the joint construction of Confucius Institute would provide a good opportunity for both sides to further strengthen humanities and academic exchanges. ZZU attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation. In the future, the Confucius Institute will be strengthened to develop it into a bridge for cultural, educational and economic exchanges between the two universities and even the two countries.
Alexander said that he would fully support the construction of Confucius Institute with the utmost sincerity.
