Recently, the 2019 National Key Research and Development Program “Active Health and Aging Technology Response”, which was led by the Fifth Affiliated Hospital of ZZU, was approved and announced by the Ministry of Science and Technology. The special fund is 71.9 million yuan, of which 11.9 million yuan is from the central government. The project is led by Prof. Zheng Pengyuan, undertaken jointly by 10 domestic health-care units including China’s Research Center for Aging, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, Shandong University and other well-known domestic universities, research institutes and tertiary hospitals, the domestic first old-age care brand Jiuru Senior Care Group, and Xiangyu Medical Group, one of the biggest R&D equipment and production enterprises in China.
