Recently, the China Mechanical Engineering Innovation and Creativity Competition for University Sutdents --”Bright Stone Cup” the First Micro-Nano Technology and Intelligent Application Competition was held in Yantai, Shandong. 60 teams from more than 30 universities including Peking University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Xiˊan Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology, South China University of Technology, Zhengzhou University took part in the finals.
Supported by the Student Affairs Department of ZZU, two teams from the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering achieved good results on behalf of ZZU in this competition. Among them, the ”Remote Operated Vehicle” designed by Li Yuanhao and others won the second prize in the total score, and the ”Underwater Speed Switches Based on the Principle of Hall Turning Handle” by Hu Jingyang and others won the Excellence Award in the seventh place in total.
