Recently, the first summit forum of "Environmental Science and Engineering Discipline and Speciality Building and Research-oriented Institute Development", hosted by Zhengzhou University and undertaken by the School of Ecology and Environment of Zhengzhou University, was held at Zhengzhou University. Academician Wang Jinnan of the Chinese Academy of Environmental Planning, Academician Wu Fengchang of the Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences, Vice Chairman of the Henan Provincial Political Consultative Conference and President of Zhengzhou University Liu Jiongtian, and Deputy Director of the Henan Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment Jiao Fei attended the meeting. Leaders from the related units, more than 200 experts and scholars from the national research institutes, enterprises and universities attended the forum.
