Zhengzhou University (ZZU) has been selected in the first batch of collaborative research and innovation platforms of the Project for Inheritance and Development of Ancient Chinese Characters and Chinese Civilization, which was recently issued by General Office of the Ministry of Education.
The Project for Inheritance and Development of Ancient Chinese Characters and Chinese Civilization was jointly launched byeight units, which includes Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee,Ministry of Education, State Language Commission, Ministry of Cultureand Tourism, Ministry of Science and Technology, National Cultural Heritage Administration, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the People’s Government of Henan Province.
According to the Master Plan of the Project for Inheritance and Development of Ancient Chinese Characters and Chinese Civilization, the expert committee selected and recommended the first batch of collaborative research and innovation platforms, consisting ofnearly ten universities including Tsinghua University and Peking University. Zhengzhou University is also one of them.
