Elsevier officially released 2021 Most Cited Chinese Researchers List through Gold Open Access (material science category in the second season). 10 scholars from 5 universities and research institutes are in the list. Two researchers of Zhengzhou University, Associate Professor Zhang Wei from the School of Ecology and Environment and Professor Zuo Qiting from the School of Water Conservancy and Environment, are among them.
Published in Environment International, with Zhang being the first author and Zuo the co-corresponding author, their research, titled “A novel chitosan vanadium-titanium-magnetite composite as a superior adsorbent for organic dyes in wastewater”, is among the top 5 of the most cited Chinese researchers in material science category in the second season.
