Recently, Clarivate Analytics announced the latest ESI rankings. Zhengzhou University has achieved new breakthroughs. The newly added physics and social sciences have entered the top 1% of the global ESI. There are currently 12 disciplines in the top 1% of the global ESI, namely clinical medicine, Chemistry, materials science, engineering, pharmacology and toxicology, biology and biochemistry, molecular biology and genetics, neuroscience and behavior, immunology, environment and ecology, physics, social sciences. The school’s overall global ranking is 461, an increase of 7 places from September 2021, and domestic universities are ranked 31.
