On November 18, the results of the co-election of academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences were officially announced. According to relevant regulations, in 2021, the Chinese Academy of Sciences elected 65 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and 25 foreign academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor Li Jie, a 1977 alumnus of the School of Civil Engineering of Zhengzhou University, was selected as one of them.
