Professor Qi Yu on Professor Zhao Song's team from Department of Thoracic Surgery of First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University has successfully completed the first ECMO assisted single-hole thoracoscopic resection of tracheal tumors in thoracic surgery in Henan province. This innovative technique is the first of its kind in Henan province, and combination of ECMO and single-hole thoracoscope is achieved for the first time.
