Zhengzhou University (ZZU) has made another breakthrough that microbiology and botany & zoology were added to top 1% of the latest ESI rankings, Clarivate released on November 10th, 2022. It is worth noting that ZZU ranks 350th in the global ESI ranking, up 9 places from last time, and 27th in domestic universities, up 1 place. The number of cited papers reached 1097 with the steady increase in ESI data.
