China Non-Ferrous Metals Industry Association and The Nonferrous Metals Society of China recently announced the “Notice on Issuing the 2022 China Nonferrous Metals Industry Science and Technology Award”. Among them, 2 scientific and technological achievements led by Zhengzhou University won the first prize, and 3 scientific and technological achievements with ZZU’s full participation in their completion won the first prize.
The projects that won the first prize hosted by ZZU are: “Theoretical Research and Key Technology Development of Double-End Energy Saving of Aluminum Electrolytic Cell” presided over by Professor Liang Xuemin and Academician He Jilin, etc., and “Research, Development and Application(Invention) of Key Technical Equipment for Magnesium Smelting of Double Vertical Tank ” by Professor Zhang Shaojun. The projects participated by ZZU’s scholars are: “Development and Industrialization (Invention) of Ultra-light Magnesium-Lithium Alloy for Aerospace” completed by Professor Xiao Yang and Academician He Jilin, “Key Technology and Application (invention) of Electrolytic Refining of High-purity Titanium Molten Salt” by Professor Song Jianxun, and “Key Technology and Equipment of Oxygen-enriched Leaching of Complex Sphalerite Based on Source Blocking” by Fan Yangyang.
