Recently, the Elsevier CiteScore 2022 (citation score) index was officially released, with over 28100 publications worldwide receiving CiteScore citation scores. The English language journal Energy & Environmental Materials sponsored by Zhengzhou University has a CiteScore of 20.5 in 2022, a significant improvement compared with the previous year, and ranks the second in the water science and environmental science classification and the fourth in the energy and waste management categories.
In addition, EEM was selected as the source journal of CSCD-C in the Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD) from 2023 to 2024 source journal selection results released by the National Science Library, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
