Students of Chemical Engineering School in Zhengzhou University (ZZU) participated in the 6th National College Students Metallurgical Science and Technology Competition held in Liaoning University of Science and Technology, sponsored by Chinese Metal Society, winning 2 first prize and 4 second prize in sci-tech innovation category, in which the study “Selective Extraction of Tin from Zinc Leaching Residue by Mixed Oxalic Acid & Sulfuric Acid Leaching and Hydrolytic Precipitation Approach” was awarded first prize of Graduates Group, and the study “Direct Absorbing Material Conversion Technology of High-iron Red Mud in” awarded first prize of Undergraduates Group. ZZU won the Excellent Organization Award.
