Recently, Professor WanYang from the School of Physics of Zhengzhou University was invited to attend the 10th International Conference on Ultrahigh Intensity Lasers (ICUIL 2024) and received the The first ultra-powerful laser young scientist award from the International Union of Pure and Applied Physics,(IUPAP) in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the research on the acceleration mechanism of ultra-powerful laser-driven plasma and advanced diagnostic technology. This is another important international recognition after Wanyang won the Asia-Pacific Physical Society Plasma Physics Young Scientist Award at our school. At the same time, he also became the first young scholar in our school to win the IUPAP Young Scientist Award, and was the first winner of this award in the field of ultra-intense lasers.
