On October 19, the 2024 Xplorer Prize award ceremony was held in Shanghai, and 49 scientists received the award. Liu Lianqing, a 1998 alumnus of the School of Physics of Zhengzhou University, received the award. The award recognizes his contributions to micro-nano manipulation and life-like robots, and supports his exploration of ultra-precise measurement methods and technologies across 10 orders of magnitude for special-shaped curved surface.
