The Tengchong Scientists Forum 2024 was held in Tengchong City, Yunnan Province from December 6 to 8, with the theme "Science, global innovation and missions of scientists: high-quality development empowered by science and technology". President Li Peng attended the University Presidents Forum and made a speech entitled “Cultivating outstanding talents through the integration of science and education”. Academicians from Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering and vice-president Dong Zigang attended the Forum.
