The Chinese Medical Association recently announced the 2024 China Medical Science and Technology Award recipients.Professor Yu Zujiang's team from the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University won the Youth Science and Technology Award for their groundbreakingproject titledRole of Gut Microbiota in Liver Inflammation-Cancer Transition: Mechanisms and Clinical Applications.The team was among only 10 national recipients of the youth accolade, marking the first timethatthe honor has been awarded to a researcher from Henan Province or Zhengzhou University First Affiliated Hospital.
