The Sixth Chemistry Culture Festival of Zhengzhou University kicked off on May 25, drawing over 300 participants, including faculty and student representatives from Zhengzhou University, local primary schools, and the Songyuan Community.

Zang Shuangquan, dean of the School of Chemistry, highlighted the school's recent achievements in discipline development, scientific research, and talent cultivation at the opening ceremony. He encouraged students to become passionate explorers of science and practical innovators, honing their professional skills through research and shouldering social responsibility through science outreach.

This year's festival offered a science-themed experience combining academic displays, interactive science popularization, and hands-on innovation.

Exhibits such as "A Century of Chemistry Development" linked the discipline's evolution to national progress. Interactive zones demonstrated scientific principles through engaging experiments, while photo exhibits and model-building activities illustrated the beauty of chemical structures.

In a special program for young students, chemistry majors guided children through experiments, helping sow the seeds of scientific curiosity in the next generation.
