Over the course of four decades, Zhengzhou University's Business School has evolved from Henan's first economics department into a comprehensive powerhouse bridging economic theory and management practice. The school has long excelled in talent cultivation, academic development, and research, guided by the principles of nurturing top-tier professionals, achieving outstanding results, and delivering exceptional services.
The Business School prioritizes moral education and has developed a comprehensive talent cultivation system. With a faculty of 138 members, boasting 24 professors and 51 associate professors, the school maintains a high proportion of advanced degree holders and faculty with international academic experience.
Focusing on academic development, the school has established a multidisciplinary system that combines applied economics, theoretical economics, and business administration. It offers six undergraduate majors and five nationally recognized undergraduate programs in disciplines such as finance, economics, and international economics and trade.
Furthermore, the school provides three primary master's degree programs, five professional master's degree programs, and two doctoral degree programs, covering various research areas like applied economics, business management, and finance.
Centered around teaching and research excellence, the school has made pioneering efforts in education, research, and social services. Leveraging its faculty's expertise, it has undertaken over 70 national-level projects and more than 170 provincial-level projects since 2020, resulting in numerous publications, awards, and contributions to local economic development.
