Established in 1956 as the Department of History, one of the original departments at Zhengzhou University, the School of History has evolved into a prominent institution. Renamed in 2004, the school offers undergraduate programs in history and world history, with doctoral programs in Chinese history and world history. It also hosts two post-doctoral research stations.
