The Advanced Analysis and Gene Sequencing Center was established in 2015 and officially renamed in 2019. It serves as a core platform for research support, resource sharing, and technical support at the university.
Occupying 5,000 square meters, the center houses over 50 sets of large-scale scientific facilities, including cryo-electron microscopes and high-resolution mass spectrometers, with a total value exceeding 300 million yuan ($41.80 million).
Among its 24 managerial and technical staff members, seven hold senior professional titles and 22 possess doctoral degrees in disciplines such as physics, chemistry, and materials science, ensuring high-quality support for both the university and the broader society.
As a research service platform, the center focuses on enhancing service capabilities, facilitating resource sharing and the commercialization of research results, gathering technical talent, and supporting academic development through institutional innovation. It aims to promote disciplinary advancement and social development through the complementary integration of internal and external resources.
The center operates under a director responsibility system, guided by a management committee and supported by an expert technical committee and a technical advisory committee.
Following a "one center and six platforms" model, the center provides round-the-clock testing services and one-stop solutions for cutting-edge research. It offers regular staff training, technical exchanges, and customized services to promote scientific advancement and resource sharing.
