The School of Continuing Education and Cadre Training Center at Zhengzhou University serves as the primary institutions responsible for the organization and implementation of both non-degree and degree continuing education. They aim to cultivate practical, professional, and skilled talent, leveraging the university's strengths and integrating external resources to offer diverse, high-quality educational programs.
The school and center have been recognized as a national-level training base for professional technical personnel and approved as Henan province's official training center. They are also part of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security's Digital Engineer Cultivation Program.
Meanwhile, the school and center have established the Zhengzhou University Henan Professional Technicians Continuing Education Platform, providing high-quality continuing education support for technical professionals across the province.
The school and center are actively exploring international non-degree training, collaborating with over 20 provinces across China. The projects cover party politics, education, health, finance, agriculture, insurance and more.
They implement a "dual empowerment" teacher cultivation system, combining internal academic excellence with external industry leaders and ensuring faculty are aligned with national strategic goals. This supports the high-quality development of non-degree education.
With its strong academic foundation and advanced technology, the school and center offer adult higher education programs and higher education self-study examinations in arts, sciences, engineering, and medicine, providing robust educational support for cadres, officials and adult learners. There are currently more than 13,000 enrolled students.
