The finals of the 2025 China International College Students' Innovation Competition took place on Oct 15 at Zhengzhou University (ZZU). The event was marked by a video address from Huai Jinpeng, minister and Party secretary of the Ministry of Education, and a speech by Liu Ning, secretary of the Communist Party of China Henan Provincial Committee.

Huai encouraged young students to align their personal aspirations with national and global development goals, using their knowledge to drive economic and social progress. He also highlighted the value of the competition as a global platform for youth innovation, fostering collaboration and learning across diverse cultures and disciplines.
Liu expressed Henan's commitment to making the competition a premier international event for youth innovation. He invited young talents worldwide to engage with Henan, emphasizing the region's potential as a fertile ground for realizing ambitions and creating impactful careers.

The championship featured presentations by six teams from domestic and international universities. Tsinghua University emerged victorious with their project on a next-generation general model and intelligent agent ecosystem based on neuromorphic architecture.
The competition attracted entries from 5,673 schools across 161 countries and regions, totaling over 6.19 million projects and 24.43 million participants.
