Zhengzhou University (ZZU) recently hosted the 2025 Academy of Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Knowledge Conference, focusing on the innovative management of information and production.
The conference began with opening remarks from notable figures such as Professor Tamamine Takashi from Kagawa University, Professor Samuel Ribeiro Navarrete from the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences, and Wang Haijie, vice-president of ZZU. The event attracted over 100 experts and scholars from countries including the United States, Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, and Malaysia, as well as representatives from more than 40 Chinese universities and research institutions.
In his speech, Wang emphasized the transformative role of artificial intelligence as a general-purpose technology that reshapes knowledge production and fosters new paths for innovation and entrepreneurship. He highlighted challenges such as data quality, technological hollowing, and lagging ethical frameworks. Wang advocated for an open innovation ecosystem and strengthened international collaboration to advance research in AI-driven innovation and entrepreneurship.
The conference tagline, "Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Knowledge by New Quality Productivity with Open AI", was explored through 20 parallel forums that delved into topics such as AI, the digital economy, innovation management, and high-quality development.
Additionally, a high-level forum featured editors from prestigious journals like the European Journal of Innovation Management and the Journal of Consumer Behaviour. They shared insights on writing and publishing high-quality papers and discussed emerging research directions. The conference concluded with a closing ceremony led by Professor Xu Bing, where awards were presented to authors of outstanding papers.
This conference brought together diverse academic and research communities, fostering high-level academic exchange and collaboration. It significantly enhanced ZZU's international influence and reputation in the fields of innovation, entrepreneurship, and knowledge creation.
