Zhengzhou University (ZZU) held its 2025 faculty table tennis tournament at the central gymnasium on the main campus on Nov 29 and 30. The event aimed to enrich the cultural and physical life of faculty members, enhance their physical fitness, and foster a positive and collaborative campus atmosphere.
The two-day tournament featured nearly 500 faculty members from 50 departmental unions, competing in close to 100 matches. Participants showcased impressive skills and determination, embodying the spirit of teamwork and perseverance that characterizes the university's faculty.

After intense competition, the Fifth Affiliated Hospital team emerged as champions, followed by the ZZU Capital Management Co Ltd team as runners-up, and the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering team in third place.
Wang Liguo, deputy secretary of the Party committee of ZZU, and Wang Haijie, vice-president of ZZU, attended the closing ceremony to present awards.
Wang Liguo congratulated the winners and expressed gratitude to the organizers, encouraging faculty members to embrace sports for better health and to channel the tournament's spirit of cooperation and determination into their work.
