ZZU honors volunteers of 2025 China International College Students' Innovation Competition

Coinciding with International Volunteer Day, Zhengzhou University (ZZU) held an award ceremony on Dec 5 to recognize over 300 faculty and student volunteers who contributed to the 2025 China International College Students' Innovation Competition.

During the event, certificates of appreciation were presented to representatives in acknowledgment of their dedicated service. Several volunteers shared their experiences, highlighting the meaningful connections and personal growth gained by supporting participants and ensuring the smooth operation of the competition.

In his address, Wang Liguo, deputy secretary of the Party committee of ZZU, expressed gratitude to all volunteers. He commended their professionalism and collaborative spirit, which played a vital role in assisting approximately 11,000 contestants and enhancing the university's reputation. Wang encouraged the volunteers to carry forward the spirit of service, apply their experience to academic and personal development, and continue contributing to society with enthusiasm and responsibility.

The ceremony not only celebrated the volunteers' efforts but also reinforced the values of dedication and mutual support within the campus community. ZZU will continue to promote volunteerism as a way for students to engage with national and regional development, contributing their energy and vision to the university's growth and social progress.
