A delegation from the Catholic University of Korea, led by President Choi Jun Gui, visited Zhengzhou University (ZZU) on March 30. The two sides held discussions on deepening academic and research cooperation.
Zang Shuangquan, vice-president of ZZU, welcomed the delegation, expressing ZZU's commitment to advancing Sino-Korean educational exchanges and achieving practical outcomes in talent cultivation, academic exchange, and joint research. President Choi introduced the Catholic University of Korea's recent research achievements and expressed strong interest in expanding collaboration in medicine and pharmaceutical sciences.
Following the talks, both universities signed a memorandum of understanding to formalize the partnership.
During subsequent discussions, the two sides agreed to promote faculty and student exchanges, launch joint research projects, and explore deeper cooperation in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. They also committed to leveraging their respective strengths to foster complementary development, technology transfer, and shared talent cultivation.
The visit laid a solid foundation for meaningful collaboration between the two institutions, injecting new momentum into Sino-Korean higher education partnerships.
