The launch ceremony for the Ministry of Education's exchange program between higher education institutions in the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, and Macao was held on June 26 at Zhengzhou University's (ZZU) School of Nursing and Health. Five nursing undergraduates from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) visited ZZU to begin a multi-day academic and cultural exchange program.

Liu Xin, Party secretary of the School of Nursing and Health, welcomed the visitors, noting that the school has long been a key player in Henan-Hong Kong nursing education exchanges. He highlighted the solid foundation built through prior visits, academic discussions, and a memorandum of understanding signed in May, which covers joint talent cultivation, research collaboration, and sustained student and faculty exchange.
Zhang Yan, executive dean of the school, presented the school's development history, disciplinary strengths, and achievements in nursing education.

Wang Shanshan, representing PolyU, thanked the hosts and emphasized the strong cooperation prospects between the two institutions. She encouraged her students to engage fully in the program, deepen their understanding of nursing developments in the mainland, and build lasting friendships.
The program marks a transition from signed agreements to concrete collaboration, promoting mutual learning and cooperation in nursing education across the region. Over the coming days, students and faculty will engage in joint academic and cultural activities, reflecting the shared commitment to youth development and professional excellence.
