A delegation led by Wang Liguo, deputy secretary of the Party committee of Zhengzhou University (ZZU), recently visited New Zealand. The team toured research laboratories at the University of Auckland, held discussions with the New Zealand-Australia Science and Innovation Alliance, and met with ZZU students studying abroad in New Zealand.

During the visit to the University of Auckland, Wang visited the materials and chemical engineering laboratories. He spoke with ZZU students currently engaged in research there, inquiring about their studies and daily life. He encouraged them to make the most of this valuable opportunity, deepen their expertise, and broaden their academic perspective.
The delegation also held discussions with representatives from the New Zealand-Australia Science and Innovation Alliance (NZASIA). The two sides explored opportunities for joint student training, shared research platforms, and collaborative scientific projects. Wang expressed appreciation for the alliance's longstanding support and emphasized the importance of the study abroad program as a bridge for sustained cooperation.

The visit reinforced communication between the university and its overseas students, while also strengthening institutional partnerships.
