Prof. Zofia Wysokinska,Vice Chancellor of Rhodes University, Poland, visited Zhengzhou University on July 1st. Liu Jongtian, President of Zhengzhou University and academician of China Engineering Academy, and the Vice Chancellor Han Huohe met with the visiting guests.

Prof. Liu Jongtian introduced the recent constructions and developments of Zhengzhou University. He hoped that areas of cooperation between the two universities can be widened and that cooperation should be enhanced in teachers and students exchanges, education of overseas students and joint education for doctoral students. Vice Chancellor Wysokinska introduced the development of Rhodes University in the aspect of international exchange and cooperation; she said she attached great importance to educational exchanges and cooperation with Zhengzhou University and that cooperation between the two universities have attracted the attention and won support from Poland government.

After that, Han Guohe and Wysokinska had a more detailed communication on the issues such as expanding areas of cooperation and improving cooperation levels and a consensus on was reached on cooperation in short-term student exchange program, joint education for doctoral students and virtual institute.
