Recently, the First International Conference on Nonlinear Dynamics and Control （ICNDC 2020） hosted by the Academy of Mathematics and Statistics of Zhengzhou University was successfully held online. The conference had a main venue hosted by the chairperson of the conference, Prof.Marian Wiercigroch, and 6 sub-venues hosted by the co-chairmen of the conference, Prof. Chen Guanrong, Prof. Pei Lijun, and Prof. Yang Zhuoqin. Prof. Marian Wiercigroch is a fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, the director of the Centre for Applied Dynamics Research at the University of Aberdeen. Prof. Xue Bo and Prof. Pei Lijun from the Academy of Mathematics and Statistics of Zhengzhou University, Prof.Yang Zhuoqin from Beihang University, Prof. Chen Guanrong from the City University of Hong Kong all gave a speech one after another at the opening ceremony. Everyone expressed a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the scholars for coming, congratulated Prof.Lu Qishao’s 80th birthday who is from Beihang University, and thanked him for his outstanding contribution to the development of nonlinear dynamics and neuro dynamics.

The scholars from the United States, the United Kingdom, Hungary, Russia, Brazil, China, and other countries attended this conference and had 9 great conference reports, 13 sub-venues invited reports, and 47 sub-venues general reports. Nearly 200 people participated in this online conference.
