On the first anniversary of the important national strategy of "Ecological Protection and High-quality Development of the Yellow River Basin" proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping, Zhengzhou University held the "Water Resources Strategy" sub-forum of the high-level scientific and technological forum on ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin on September 26. Deng Hongjun, member of the Party Committee, vice chairman of Henan Science and Technology Association, Wang Zongmin, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and vice president of Zhengzhou University, Wang Yu, director of the Planning Bureau of the Yellow River Conservancy Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources, Wang Daoxi, Dean of the Yellow River Hydraulic Research Institute, Yang Shaochun, Secretary of the CPC Mengjin County Committee, Wang Yanrong, secretary-general of Henan Institute of Water Resources, attended the meeting, and more than 200 experts and scholars attended the meeting.

With the theme of "Water Resources Strategy Seminar in the Yellow River Basin", this forum conducted discussions on major water resource strategic issues in the Yellow River Basin. Focusing on the most rigid constraint of water resources, the forum discussed and exchanged innovative, intelligent, cross-cutting academic research and practice activities in the Yellow River Basin in different disciplines, fields and industries, so as to contribute to the ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin. Fourteen experts and scholars, including Wang Daoxi, Dean of the Yellow River Conservancy Research Institute, Wang Yu, Director of the Planning Bureau of the Yellow River Conservancy Commission of the Ministry of Water Resources, and Yang Shaochun, Secretary of the CPC Mengjin County Committee, delivered remarkable speech.
