Recently, the 8th National Basic Medical High-level Forum hosted by the National Basic Medical High-level Forum Council (NBMHFC) and undertaken by the School of Basic Medical Sciences (SBMS) of Zhengzhou University (ZZU) was held at Zhengzhou University. Gu Zhenqing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of ZZU, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.Experts and scholars from more than 40 universities across the country, including Peking University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Zhejiang University, Sun Yat-sen University, Shandong University, etc. attended the forum, which was presided over by those in charge of SBMS.

The guests at the conference conducted exchanges and discussions on the theme of “Cultivation of Top Medical Talents and Construction of Basic Medical Faculty”.Academician Chen Guoqiang, dean of the School of Medicine of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and other experts and scholars from 17 universities delivered special reports.SBMS leaders introduced the practice and exploration experience of promoting the reform of basic medical education and teaching in ZZU.
