Recently, the research group of Professor Xu Qun of ZZU successfully prepared two-dimensional ferromagnetic VO2 with room temperature response by using CO2 to construct a strong internal stress field in a non-van der Waals force crystal channel and published the paper with the title of ‘Conversion of non-van der Waals VO2 Solid to 2D Ferromagnet by CO2-induced Phase Engineering’ inNano Today, an international authoritative journal. Zhou Yannan and Yan Pengfei, PhD candidates of ZZU, are the co-first authors, and the corresponding author is Prof. Xu Qun.
