On November 18, Liu Jiongtian, Vice Chairman of the Henan Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, Secretary of ZZU’s Party Committee and Principal, sent a congratulatory letter to Li Jie, 1977 alumnus of School of Civil Engineering, on his election as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2021.

The letter pointed out that his election is not only a personal glory, but also the pride of ZZU. It adds not only new energy to the university academician group, but also remarkable achievement to the century-long development of ZZU. He hoped that Li Jie would continue to support the construction and development of the university, and further deepen the teaching and research cooperation to build a first-class university.
