Recently, the final round of the 15th National College Student Mathematics Competition was held at Shandong University. Nine students from Zhengzhou University made it to the finals, achieving 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 6 third prizes. Yang Zhibo, a student fromthe Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (Outstanding Talent Class) at the School of Mathematics and Statistics, won the first prize in the competition (lower-grade group for mathematics). Zhengzhou University also received the first prize for excellent organization in the competition.
