ZZU Held the Opening Ceremony of the University History Museum

On June 18th, Zhengzhou University History Museum was officially opened. University leaders Niu Shucheng, Liu Jiongtian, Qu Lingbo, Li Xingcheng, Jia Shaoxin, Gu Zhenqing, Xu Dongsheng, Guan Shaokang, Wu Hongyang and Zhao Minghao, Du Bailian, former president of Henan Medical University, Chen Yifeng, former executive deputy secretary of ZZU Party Committee and consultant of ZZU History Museum construction working group, Cui Muyue, former ZZU Vice President, Ge Jiqian, alumni of the Department of Political History, former Deputy Minister of the Publicity Department of the Henan Provincial Party Committee and President of the Henan Branch of ZZU Alumni Association, and Pang Xinchang, the teacher representative and professor of the School of Materials Science and Engineering, attended the ceremony.

Niu Shucheng, secretary of the Party Committee, Du Bailian, the former leader representative, the teacher representative Pang Xinchang, and the alumni representative Ge Jiqian jointly unveiled ZZU history museum.

President academician Liu Jiongtian delivered a speech. He pointed out that university history is a portrayal of the universityˊs development process, an important carrier of culture inheritance and a concentrated expression of the university spirit. We must pay tribute to history, learn from history, draw wisdom and strength from history, and start a new journey.

Chen yifeng introduced the construction of the university history museum in the past two years.

Ge Jiqian said in his speech that he would continue to care about the construction of ZZU and support the development of his alma mater.

Li Xingcheng, deputy secretary of the Party Committee, released books of the University History Museum on behalf of ZZU.

Niu shucheng presented books of ZZU History Museum to teachers, students and alumni representatives.

After the ceremony, the participating guests, teachers and students visited the University History Museum and participated in the anniversary celebration.(translator Yang Qiuqiu)
